The fun of Facebook:
Albert Vanderburg: “It will surprise lots of people when they see how affordable Arcadia is.” $165,000 is affordable to lots of people???
Albert Vanderburg: Reminds me. I dreamed last night I was rushing around trying to borrow $20. No luck. Even Kory K was broke (or claimed to be).
Deb Jensen: you can’t get a garage for that here.
·
Patricia Hayes: CANT GET A DUNNY HERE
·
Michael J Wise: you can get a large car for that here, but that’s about it.
·
Kory Kurokawa: hey, i just bought a house and have a kid on the way… no money here!

For someone who isn’t really a sports fan, I’m spending an unusual amount of time with them.
I watched the Superbowl, as always mainly for the jazzy new commercials and the half-time show. But actually, the game itself was the best part of it. And cheers to New Orleans for winning.
Half-time was just painful. The Who should have enough sense to retire gracefully. They surely can’t need the money. I guess the distinction of appearing before the largest audience in mankind’s history was an incentive. But they were a very pale shadow of what they once were.
And now it’s the Winter Olympics. The Opening Ceremony was fantastic, the highlight for me being K.D. Lang singing a Leonard Cohen song. As I said on Facebook, it just doesn’t get better than that.
But I’m enjoying the games themselves, too.

I was going to upload a photo of the $104.3 million dollar Giacometti sculpture to Facebook but it said “The photo was either too tall or too skinny.”
That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen on the internet.
