I think this is beautiful, with two of the best people Hawaii has produced.
Hmmmm … it’s not letting me put in the link as usual, but here it is:

[Definitely worth the trouble of cutting and pasting it into your browser. Which, by the way, is for me Google's Chrome, without a doubt.]
Regarding the comment to 1494, Presidents on top in terms of chain of command. I wouldn’t be the least surprised to hear that Marilyn was on top.

Today on Facebook:
An Aretha Franklin Christmas CD. If her “Angels We Have Heard on High”, which she just sang on Rachel Ray’s show, is typical, it will be somewhat exhausting listening.

The Tiger Woods saga has become increasingly disgusting. The women who were lucky enough to get his body going on television talk shows to blab about it are beneath contempt. And I’m irked enough by the corporate vampires abandoning him that I vow not to buy anything made by any of them, starting with Gillette. I’m sorry I have two of their disposable razors in my cabinet but there will not be any more.
I mean, come on, men who can’t keep their pants zipped are not anything new in our society, from Presidents on down. Tiger is incredibly handsome, talented and wealthy. How could anyone, including his wife, be surprised that his zipper was slippery, too?

A study has shown that drinking beer reduces the chances of getting prostate cancer.
Cheers!

On Facebook I am finally realizing my ambition of becoming a Dirty Old Man.
I have so many adorable young men as friends. And they constantly send me provocative messages, especially ones asking me to take this or that quiz. Lloyd asked me to try the “what movie love story are you”. TITANIC.
Oh well.
And Lloyd is just as cute as any boy could be, even for someone who lives in a valley which has an amazing abundance of them.
Yes, I do love Facebook.

Having some technical difficulties here in recent days. As I said to Blaine, maybe Dame Fortune is telling me it’s time to give this up?
In the meantime, until she pulls the plug for good, I have to mention that at least eating will be fine in this month of difficulties.
Even though I am far more extravagant with foodstamps than I would be with cash, I never run out of them. Yes, I have to be more aware of the total cost toward the end of the month, but have still never hit bottom.
A LOT of it goes to the boys. They never lack for their favorite candies.
And that’s how it should be, since they are the joy of my life.

Here it is, the eighth day of a lonnnnnng month and … oh well, I’m sure there are millions of people thinking to themselves, December, what a lousy month in which to be broke. Nonstop net access is indeed lovely but it surely is playing havoc with my pockets. My beloved beer-a-day habit just isn’t going to make it this month. As always, tobacco has to come first.
What a silly note to come in on after so much silence.
